About St. Oliver Plunkett Hospital
St Olivers is a 63 bedded community hospital situated in the grounds of the Louth County Hospital in Dundalk The facility provides Day Care, Respite, Extended care and Dementia for older people in the locality. Our aim is to provide a quality service appropriate to each clients needs. Our philosophy is to enhance positive ageing.
What's Involved
We are seeking the assistance of a group or individual to play music or provide dancing entertainment for the residents one or two Thursday mornings a month 11am to 12pm.
We are particularly looking for somebody that would be able to play music/songs that the residents would be familiar with.
Volunteers must be able to interact well with older people and be friendly and able to work independently.
What's required for this position
Play an instrument or sing
Good communication skills
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
