About YMCA Dublin
YMCA Dublin has been helping vulnerable young people in Dublin’s Inner City for over 160 years. Youth work, education, family support programmes, community childcare and community employment are just some of the services built into the very core of the YMCA’s existence. We work with young people from créche going age through to youth work with education programmes for those who leave school early.
What's Involved
Do you want to make a difference in the local community and support a dedicated youth organisation? We’re looking for volunteers for our annual Christmas Tree fundraiser.
From the profit we generate each year from sales we are able to continue and set up new youth work programmes for the young people we support. This makes such a difference to the lives of so many people.
It would be great if you could help us out this year and we would only need 3-4 hours of your time, but we’re happy if you want to do more! With the support of a YMCA Dublin staff member, volunteers will assist customers with purchasing their Christmas tree. We’ll need volunteers from 2nd December straight through until 20th December, including Saturdays and Sundays.
We’re particularly looking for volunteers for the weekends (10am-2pm or 2-5pm) and also the evening shifts Monday-Friday 5-9pm)
Thanks so much for your support of our work!
