Depaul

About Depaul

Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.

What's Involved

Are you a friendly person? Do you like meeting new people and getting to know others? If you are, then we need you! Depaul works with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Loneliness is one of the most debilitating things to happen to a person and many people affected by homelessness experience loneliness and isolation. The things we take for granted can disappear from life when you become homeless. Someone to watch your favorite TV programme with, someone to share a cup of tea with or someone to talk about your hobbies, hopes and dreams with.

We need volunteers to come into our services and spend time talking with our service users and assist them in rebuilding their lives. We will provide you with support, training and a unique opportunity to learn develop and grow.
