Beauty & Self Care assistant

Depaul

About Depaul

Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.

What's Involved

Don't we all enjoy having our hair and nails done? We all like to feel good to be refreshed and done-up from time to time. Depaul work with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. As you can imagine beauty treatments are certainly not part of the daily life of a homeless person.

In Depaul we like to ensure we provide support in all aspects of our service users lives. Therefore we want to ensure that our service users can have the opportunity to have their nails done, have their hair done or maybe use a face pack. If you are interested in supporting our service users in these activities then we need you! If you could come to our services and spend time assisting with nail painting, hair styling and other non invasive beauty treatments we really would love to hear from you. This really would make the world of difference to our service users.

Next Volunteer Induction will take place on:
- Wednesday 26th June.
- Other dates to be confirmed
