About Down Syndrome Ireland
Down Syndrome Ireland is dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professional community.
We are working towards an improved quality of life for our members along with a respect and acceptance of people with Down syndrome as valued members of Irish society.
What's Involved
If you enjoy fashion and selecting the best items of clothing and other stock for selling in our Charity Shops, then this is the perfect opportunity to you. You will get to work with all age groups and some other nationalities. You can explore your creative side and help with displays in our shop and learn about pricing. Above all, you will welcome our customers and help them find what they are looking for.
You will be assisting with:
Meeting and greeting all customers that enter the shop.
Keeping the shop clean and tidy at all times.
Taking in donations and sorting, steaming & ironing and displaying clothes in the shop.
Ensuring books & Bric a brac are nicely displayed.
Promoting a good atmosphere in the shop.

What's required for this position
Outgoing, confident, friendly disposition, honest, reliable, flexible and adaptable.
Till / Cash training will be providing but experience, though not essential - would be an advantage.
