About Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre Ltd

The Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre is the key local organisation that provides community services and manages local facilities in Ringsend & Irishtown. We have an integrated approach to the provision of services from “cradle to grave” with approximately 35,000 usages/year.
From the Creche to the Active Retirement Group, we cater for our Youth and those in our community with mental and physical disabilities. From legal and political advice to gardening, dance and yoga. The Centre is at the heart of our multi-cultural community. We also reach out, with our Breakfast Club and Afterschool programmes.

What's Involved

At RICC we have many annual events that cater for all ages in our community and we always welcome volunteers.

Our biggest annual event is our RICC May Day Parade. Running into its 9th year this year, the parade celebrates growth and development in the community, bidding an official farewell to winter. It gives us a chance to highlight the wonderful services available in the area. We welcome over 500 in attendance each year and the day is unforgettable.

Other events include; The Summer Project, Easter and Halloween Camps which draw a collective attendance of over 100 children. We also welcome volunteers for The RICC Youth Club, which caters for children from 7 to 10 years and meets every Wednesday afternoon.

In addition, we welcome volunteers in areas such as; administration, maintenance and team support.
