About Sharing the Journey
Sharing the Journey is a parent led organisation, offering support to all parents and families of Deaf and hard of hearing children, irrespective of communication, education.
What's Involved
Sharing the Journey is a totally volunteer organisation. Over the past four years we have grown from a local support group to a National support network, supporting parents of Deaf and Hard-of-hearing children throughout Ireland.
We now need a dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator to take responsibility for recruiting, processing, orientation, training and support of our expanding volunteer team. Based at our Parent Resource Centre, The Volunteer Co-ordinator will work closely with our Executive Committee to develop a comprehensive Volunteer Policy.
What's required for this position
The ideal person will have some Admin or HR skills and a willingness to work in a learning and developing environment. Training will be provided.
