About Monaghan Volunteer Centre
Monaghan Volunteer Centre was established by Monaghan Integrated Development in 2006 and has grown to be a dedicated countywide service for volunteering in Monaghan.
Monaghan Volunteer Centre is part of a network of volunteers centres in Ireland and is affiliated to the national development agency for volunteering, Volunteer Ireland.
The Volunteer Centre is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and is committed to enabling, promoting, supporting and advancing volunteering in Monaghan.
Monaghan Volunteer Centre is seeking new members to join its steering group. The steering group meets four times each year and the purpose of the group is to guide the work of the Volunteer Centre. The steering group comprises of 12 members who represent various sectors of the community and society. Meeting generally take place on Wednesday mornings or afternoons.
What's required for this position
Volunteers should have some knowledge on the community and voluntary sector in Co. Monaghan.
