About Order of Malta Ireland - Harolds Cross Unit
Provide first aid voluntary at public and corporate events. Teach members of the public first aid and basic life support skills. Community care, bringing people home for the day and patient transport too and from local
facilitates.
We are looking for drivers to meet the demands on the unit, must have a full clean D license full basic life support training provided
What's Involved
Being part of our ambulance unit is an exciting opportunity. You will first be ensured that you are certified in a minimum of First Aid Response before going out on duty. Our responsibilities include:
1. Emergency care to the injured and medically unwell in the midst of crowds at large concerts aswell as
2. The transport of the elderly and infirm.
During the initial stages of your training you will always be accompanied by someone of higher clinical level and experience than you to tutor and guide you. You will NEVER be left on your own. Training is held once a week in the evenings.

Other Details
Location of volunteering opportunity:
Training is carried out in St. Louis High School, Rathmines, Dublin 12.
Duties may be performed anywhere across Dublin but all are on an optional basis.
