Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.
Supporting Homeless services in cutting, styling and grooming male and female service users to encourage self care and boost self esteem.
Who doesn't want to feel gorgeous now and then ? This is a chance to lift the confidence and improve the self esteem of men and women living in a homeless hostel in Dublin city centre who are directly affected by homelessness.
What's required for this position
You will need a good sense of humour, imagination and creativity, excellent communication skills and the ability to work along the hostel staff as part of the wider team.
Ability to follow hygiene, Health & Safety guidance as well as the ability to dye, cut and style hair.
