Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership was set up in 1996 as a response to long term unemployment and poverty.The overall aim of the Partnership is to support the community to reach its full potential, to encourage participation, and to target its resources at those most in need in our community.

What's Involved

Have you got green fingers or interested in learning more about gardening? We are looking for people to get involved with our Cherry Orchard Community Garden. You will be helping with planting and general gardening. You'll also be meeting new people and being part of a valuable community resource.

What's required for this position

A willingness to learn and get involved.
Some gardening experience desirable but not necessary.

  • Trades/ Operative/ Manual

Level of English required for this role:
Basic English

Times and commitment required for this role


Minimum time commitment: Flexible

Hours required: 2hrs Weekly

Benefits you will receive as a volunteer

You will be part of a team of volunteers and Tus workers. You will get to share the produce from the garden and have opportunities to take part in workshops and courses to learn more about gardening.
