What's Involved

Welcoming visitors to the museum, showing them around the museum and show them some artifacts. It is to give visitors a personal insight to the city by getting the chance to talk with a local Dubliner. This will enhance the visitor experience in one of the leading museums in Ireland. We are extremely grateful to those who can give us their time and show our guests the stories of Dublin we have here in the museum.

We are currently looking for people to volunteer at the weekend.
Time available to volunteer: between 10.00 - 17.00.

What's required for this position

This role would suit someone who is very familiar with Dublin or has an interest in the city. Someone with a warm smile and a story to tell about the city. They are willing to show tourists around the museum and give them a personal look around the second floor of the museum. Strong communication skills in English are a must. A second language would be a bonus.
