About SOSAD Ireland
Since 2007, SOSAD has worked to raise awareness and help prevent
suicide in Ireland. We have worked tirelessly in our communities to
help those in need feel supported and know they are not alone on their
journey. SOSAD offers support and services for people who are going
through bereavement, struggling with a loss of a loved one, from suicide, suffering
with mental health issues, suffering with stress and anxiety,
struggling with isolation, or if you simply need someone to talk to.

We have seven offices based in Cavan, Louth, Meath, Laois and Monaghan from
which we provide our services. Online services are available.
What's Involved
Applicants to carry out suicide risk assessments
The role will entail carrying out psychological risk assessments on high risk clients. Also, evaluating from the assessment the best actions to take and what other resources we need in order to help the high risk client on their road to recovery.
The assessments also helps us to choose the right counsellor with specfic skills for the clients needs.
What's required for this position
Degree in psychology.
Experience in dealing with clients Suicidal/depressed.
Passion to help others.
Able to commit to one/two days a week.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Must have caring, patient and understanding nature.
