About Irish Deaf Society
The Irish Deaf Society provides support to the Deaf community throughout Ireland by providing: Advocacy information and advice through Irish Sign Language, Community and Personal Support, Deaf Adult Education.
What's Involved
Are you a qualified electrician with a few hours to spare to help a good cause? We get a lot of donations of electrical appliances, and we need your help to sort through the appliances to ascertain if they are in good working order, e.g. radios, toys, lamps etc The appliances will then be sold through our charity shops to raise much need funds for Irish Deaf Society.
The appliances are stored in our warehouse in Santry, not far from the M50. We would be grateful if you could help out for a few hours, one or two days a week, Mon - Fri.
What's required for this position
Must be qualified and competent and aware of heath and safety.
