About CoderDojo Foundation
CoderDojo is a global movement of free, open, volunteer-led coding clubs (Dojos) where young people aged 7–17 (we call them “ninjas”) can explore digital technology. CoderDojo’s mission is to give young people around the world the opportunity to learn to code in a fun, social and safe environment.
What's Involved
The Coolest Projects Awards announced that its seventh annual event will take place in the RDS Dublin, on Saturday 26 May 2018. It promises to be another innovation-filled event, and it’s already looking bigger and better than ever before, with more than 15,000 people expected to attend.
Coolest Projects is a world-leading showcase that empowers and inspires the next generation of digital creators, innovators, changemakers, and entrepreneurs. It offers young people from the international CoderDojo community the opportunity to present the projects they have created at their local Dojo. The event is both a competition and an exhibition to inspire and enable innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and technology skills in young coders aged up to 18.
