About Albion Rovers Football Club
Albions Rovers F.C. was founded in 1977 and has a current membership of over 500 juveniles and over 80 adult players. It fields 38 competitive teams in competitions at local and regional level. These comprise all age groups from academy through to three adult male teams and one female adult team. The club membership is drawn from a wide geographical area, including Monasterboice, Collon, Tullyallen, Tenure, Ballymakenny, Killineer and Drogheda. These areas have a large and growing youth population which is mirrored in the Clubs membership.
What's Involved
Albion Rovers Football Club are organising a Charity Family Fun day on 24th July in aid of The Rainbow Club who provide support and assistance to Children with Special Needs.
As part of the promotion of the event, we would like to develop a dedicated website which would be used to promote news for the event and also to post details of sponsors of the event.
The club is seeking someone with experience in building and maintaining a basic website who would like to get involved with a significant charity event.
What's required for this position
Ability to develop and maintain a website and use the website to promote a charitable event with regular updates and news features as well as advertising features for sponsors of the event.
