About Drogheda Girl Guides
Provide a safe environment for young girls to undertake recreational, educational and fun activities. Our mission statement is to enable girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.
What's Involved
To assist Guide Leaders in working with the girls.
Helping with the girls in their badge work, Arts and Crafts, cooking, beauty, hiking, safety in the home, safe cross code etc.
We sometimes undertake camping and trips away with the older girls and learn about the dangers of drugs, practical indoor and outdoor skills and be aware of the care and needs of others.
We are looking to involve volunteers every evening during the week and any time a volunteer could offer any of the evenings, would be appreciated.
Groups usually last approx. 1.5 hours.

What's required for this position
To enjoy working with young or older children. Must be punctual, reliable and consistent at weekly meetings.
