About Carrick on Suir Neighbourhood Youth Project
The aim of the neighbourhood youth project is to provide community based preventative / supportive services for young people aged from 10 to 18 years, as well as their families and their community.
What's Involved
Youth cafe is for young people aged 13-18 years. Volunteers will be expected to volunteer for at least 2.5 hours per week supervising weekly youth cafe. Wednesdays 5.30pm-7.30pm (plus planning time). The volunteer team plan activities for the group, occasional trips away and mainly befriend and build relationships with the members. The provide support when necessary, create a safe environment for the young people and encourage a creative environment where they can pursue their interests.
