What's Involved
The Liberties Festival, this year jointly organized by SICCDA and Robert Emmet, is one of Ireland’s oldest festivals. From modest beginnings in 1970 it has grown to become a highlight of the summer in Dublin with a series of family-friendly, sporting and community events, and an exciting multi-cultural and arts programme encompassing visual art, film, dance, comedy, literature and music.
The 2023 Liberties Festival is taking place from 24th - 30th July 2023. This is a general call for all types of volunteers that may be interested in helping out at all our various events.
Roles are varied, all hands on deck!
Set up at events and clear up afterward;
serving food and drink;
meet and greet at venue;
taking tickets and ushering;
supervising children and generally helping at Family Fun Day;
working backstage at various shows, exhibitions etc. etc. etc.
The different groupings of events include:
Health and Wellbeing
Environment
Music
Old Classics (Quiz, Garda V Trader’s Football Match, Blue Rinse Ball, We Love Markets)
Culture
Young People
Time Commitment:
A two hour, once off commitment is the minimum we require.

The Liberties Area, Dublin 8, to include Meath St., Thomas St. and elsewhere. Main office is located at 90 Meath St., Dublin 8
