About Culture Night Dublin
Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. Encourages more people to visit cultural venues and experience culture in their locality. Reminds us all about the fantastic cultural facilities and resources that we have locally and nationally. Raises the profile of cultural organisations, activities and facilities. Encourages people to try new things and to get into the habit of going more often to cultural venues and activities in their locality. Makes it easier for people to play a role in their local cultural scene. Helps create a sense of community and belonging
What's Involved
The success of the Culture Night that Dubliners have come to know and love, hinges on the support of our amazing volunteers. With a variety of outdoor events planned throughout the city for this year’s programme on Friday, 22 September 2023, we are seeking Event Ambassadors.
Expectations of the volunteer:
– Acting as an ambassador for Culture Night Dublin
– Assisting with the organisation of the Culture Night Dublin Packs
– Assisting with the distribution of Culture Night Dublin Packs
– Assisting at Information Points around the city
– Assisting with remote pre-festival work if necessary
– Ushering
What's required for this position
This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, reliable team player. A knowledge of Dublin City, and its arts and cultural institutions, is certainly desirable.
