What's Involved

Support Person :
To enable the organisation to deliver on its mission, a team of Support People are to be recruited. The persons appointed will promote Sage and awareness of its services at local level and will provide general support to Sage clients to enable them to make or have their voice heard.

Support People will interact with various key audiences, including service providers and relevant community and voluntary organisations.

Specialist :
People with legal, financial, housing, mediation and other areas of specialist expertise who provide support to staff and volunteers regarding complex issues.

What's required for this position

Volunteers will be individuals who can demonstrate empathy with the objectives of Sage and skills in communicating and developing relationships with key stakeholders, i.e. HSE, Nursing Homes, general practitioners, community services etc.
They will be service – oriented people with well- developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
