Sunflower Day Collector Friday 8th & Saturday 9th June 2018

Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services

About Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services

Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services has two truly special facilities, Harold’s Cross and Blackrock Hospice. Together with the community outreach that cares for people in their homes, we are able to provide specialist end-of-life care to hundreds of patients each year; we also supply rheumatic and muscular disease rehabilitation and other specialist services for older people.

Our aim is to provide a top quality health service through physical, psychological, social & spiritual support with a mix of skills, delivered through a multi-professional collaborative team approach.

What's Involved

We have experienced both a cut in available funding and at the same time a doubling in demand for our services over the last few years – we rely on donations raised through Sunflower Days as a key source of funds to help support our important work.

On Friday 8th & Saturday 9th June 2018, we will be selling Sunflower Badges (and also little teddy bears wearing sunflower T-shirts) in various shops and shopping centres around the city. We also have a number of Church gate collections taking place throughout June.

We have a core team who help us each year but we always need to find many additional helpers who are willing to volunteer. Are you the kind of smiling person who would be willing to give up just a few hours to help out to sell some badges near you?
