About Aisling Project Ballymun
Aisling Project has provided an after-school service for children from Ballymun since 1997. Our main aims are to prevent early school leaving, benefit the community and advance education by running an after-school intervention project for children at risk.
What's Involved
Would you be interested in helping children and young people with Homework and working alongside our staff team throughout the day?
Aisling Project is looking to further expand its volunteer base for our afterschool project working with children and young people from the age of 7yrs. We have 5 centres across Ballymun, 4 of which work with Primary School aged children and the 5th working with Post Primary aged young people.
Your role will involve:
* Setting up and helping with dinner.
* Assisting and supporting children/ young people with homework
* Helping set up games and activities.
* Participating in games and activities e.g sports, art, baking, computers , gardening etc.
* Attending outings/ reward trips with children and volunteers.
