What's Involved

Do you have a couple of hours to spare one evening a week? Would you like to get more involved in your community?

You could be a member of our Social Club supporting men and women with an Intellectual Disability. It will involve engaging socially with the men and women in the club, supervising them, helping with teas and coffees, art and crafts, playing pool, DJing and then cleaning up after the club. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun!

What's required for this position

Good human empathy and interpersonal skills.

  • Personable Skills

Level of English required for this role:
Basic English

Times and commitment required for this role

Getting there

It is located beside the memorial gardens close to the Phoenix Park. All buses going to Maynooth, Palmerstown, Leixlip and Celbridge go close by. It is 10 minutes walk from the Suir Rd Luas Stop
