About Cahir Community Youth Project
Cahir CYP is one of the many Youth Projects running under Waterford and South Tipperary Community Youth Service. The project aims to provide a range of social, recreational and personal development programs for young people aged 10-24, particularly those experiencing social exclusion and disadvantage.
What's Involved
Currently not operating, but recruiting volunteers for when we re-open at a later stage.
Volunteers will assist in the supervision of weekly youth groups. Volunteers to engage in fun and meaningful activities with young people aged 10 to 24. Cahir Community Youth Project is looking for volunteers to give 2 hours per week.
What's required for this position
Volunteers should be warm and welcoming with an interest in working with young people. Volunteers should be open to working with a cross section of young people who live in the Cahir district.
All volunteers will be required to complete Garda Vetting and Child Protection training with WSTCYS.
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
