Solas Project is a charity (CHY 17385) based in Dublin 8. Our vision is to see communities rejuvenated. We aim to do this by equipping and building up young people to overcome all limitations imposed on them by social and educational disadvantage through the adventure of discovering their abilities and self-worth.

What's Involved

Volunteer with us for 6 days over a 5 week summer programme of fun and adventure for children aged 5 – 10 who live in inner city Dublin. Enable these children make the most out of their long summer holidays.

We’re running Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9th July - 8th August 2024.

What's involved in this role?

  • - Having fun with the children!
  • - Helping supervise children during travel to/from destination and during activities.
  • - Attending day trips with transport from city centre provided.
  • - Water activities, sports and teamwork.

DATES: 9th-11th July (Week One), 16th-18th July (Week Two), 23rd-25th July (Week Three), 30th-1st August (Week Four), 6th-8th August (Week Five) HOURS: 9.30am – 4pm

Minimum commitment: 6 full days We ask that you commit six full days over the course of the six weeks, it can be one day per week, or 6 days in a row.

No experience required, just people willing to get involved and have fun!
