About The Calvary Project
The Calvary at Omeath has been a place of pilgrimage for many years, especially for people in need of healing. The Calvary includes historic Way of the Cross, the Shrine of St. Jude, the beautiful Lourdes Grotto, the image of the Divine Mercy and the Fr. Gentili Crypt, and the Fr Luigi Gentilli Gardens all making up a place of peace and prayer.
What's Involved
We would be delighted to acquire the assistance of a volunteer to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the Fr Luigi Gentili garden at the Calvary Project. As a volunteer, you would work under the supervision of the gardener doing odd jobs such as weeding, planting, clearing, sweeping etc.
Volunteers would be asked to give one or two hours of their time on any day of their choosing.
What's required for this position
Volunteers should be in good physical health and physically fit.
