Our mission is helping "the people we support to be more independent; helping them to contribute to and be more included in their communities; empowering them with the skills and confidence to be active in the workforce; and supporting them to be in charge of their health and wellness".

What's Involved

We have a Horticulture unit that would gain greatly from a volunteer that has an interest in Horticultural - prepare seed beds, transfer plants to containers, container plants around the work site, till the soil, prune plants, trees and other gardening products.

Supporting people with a disabilities in the Horticultural Centre.

What's required for this position

• Knowledge and interest in horticulture is essential • Treat Service users as individuals and respect their preferences and choices as far as possible. • Help Service users to achieve independence where possible. • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Service users • Reliable & Patient • Helpful & Kind
