About Arch D12 Club
We aim to enhance and enrich the lives of people with special needs and their families, by:
1. Providing a social outlet for people with Intellectual Disabilities
2. Developing members' social skills, self-esteem and quality of life through a dynamic range of activities.
3. Providing support, information and respite for parents and families.
4. Influencing public policy towards those with special needs through contact with statutory agencies.
What's Involved
ARCH D12 wishes to conduct a review of its activities. We would like to engage an experienced Facilitator to assist us with that review.
1. The Facilitator will be required to become familiar with the activities of the Club, its Members and their families and Service Providers and its volunteers.
2. The Facilitator will organise a full day Saturday event in the autumn, and facilitate an open, entertaining and productive meeting where a Strategic Review of ARCH D12 will be conducted.
What's required for this position
A strong and demonstratable commitment to equality. Experience at facilitating similar events. Relevant life experience, which ideally would include knowledge of people with an Intellectual Disability. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
