Chrysalis is a Community Drug Project offering a range of services to drug users, their families and the wider community in the greater Stoneybatter area. Chrysalis also offers a range of services to drug using female sex workers.

What's Involved

The Holistic Practitioner will be part of our therapeutic team. You will be assisting, complementing and supporting our work in improving the physical and well-being of our service users - through the provision of holistic treatments e.g. reiki, massage and acupuncture.

We will need you to volunteer in the evening as part of our evening services - alongside our peer workers and keyworkers.
It will be an appointment based service - managed through the Manager and Receptionist. The service users will be assessed by the team prior to their engagement with the Holistic Services to ensure their suitability.

Commitment:
2 hours per week in the evening
1 year commitment

What's required for this position

Fully insured
Fluent English
Professional qualification in one of the following Holistics therapies e.g acupuncture, reiki or massage
You will be Garda Vetted

  • Fitness/ Health/ Beauty
  • Personable Skills

Level of English required for this role:
Fluent English

Bus Routes serving Manor St. : 37, 39/a/b/c/x, 70/a/b/x Luas Red Line ( get off at Smithfield, continue to follow the Luas line walking away from town, take the second right and continue up the hill for 10 mins. Chrysalis is on the right hand side.
