What's Involved
Let's Walk & Talk is a community initiative of Dublin City Council providing health, social and educational benefits to participants. Currently there are 10 weekly walking groups under this initiative.
Two volunteers are required to lead the group that meet every Thursday at 2pm at Sandymount Green, Sandymount, Dublin 4. This walk lasts about 90 minutes at a leisurely enough pace and usually taking place within the Dublin 4 catchment area. There are usually about 20 participants there each week who are mainly retired people.
Commitment
There is no commitment to be there every week but regular attendance is required.

What's required for this position
Someone who can lead a group, enjoys walking, is sociable and creative in planning walking routes in the area/places to visit.
