About St John's House, Camino Network
St John's House is a Transitional Housing and aftercare project. We support people who have been affected by drug addiction, and who have successfully completed programmes in a residential treatment centre, while in our project we provide a safe secure drug free environment for residents for up to a six month period. Supporting them in their progression plan ie... work / college / training and re-integrating then into their community and wider society.
What's Involved
We are Saint James Camino Network and we are trying to raise money for a new heating system for the second phase of our project at St. John's House in Chapelizod. If you have a friendly smile and would like to help out a really good cause, then why not volunteer some time on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday on the 29th and 30th June and the 1st and 2nd of July.
What's required for this position
Flexible, reliable, honest, fundraising, personable skills and an interest in helping vulnerable people in our society. Would also be suitable for groups or teams of volunteers.
