About The Festival of Curiosity

With over 45,000 attendees each year across 14 venues in Dublin City Centre, The Festival of Curiosity is Ireland’s annual celebration at the intersection of art, science, technology and design and has quickly grown to be one of the most exciting and innovative festivals of it’s kind in Europe. The Festival of Curiosity takes a brand new, innovative & research-led approach to audience participation and engagement in science, arts, design & technology for all ages and has sold out every year since it’s inception.

What's Involved

The Festival of Curiosity is back in Dublin this summer for a four day cultural feast of science, arts, design and technology.

You'll be part of the team helping to celebrate the sixth year - from July 19th to July 22nd - with a programme full of surprise and delight as visitors experience Dublin city come to life in an energetic fusion of science, arts, design & technology.

You'll be working behind the scenes with a variety of tasks to enable Festival activities including:

  • Pop-up Playgrounds
  • Curiosity Carnivals
  • Sleepy City Tours
  • Urban Escapes
  • Crafty Creations
  • Explorations of the future of storytelling, film and documentary

  • If you're curious about what's involved in these and other Festival Activities and you'd like to volunteer then we'd love to hear from you!! You'll receive full training and learn new skills while meeting like minded people.

    The most important skills are enthusiasm and curiosity! We are looking for people who like speaking with the general public and engaging them in curious activities in fun settings.
