About NCBI Retail - Cahir
NCBI is a not for profit organisation .We provide practical and emotional supports, rehabilitation services and hands on training to help people who are blind or visually impaired to help them live independently and confidently in their own community. We rely heavily on volunteers to support our charity shops. Each hour you volunteer will help to fund these life changing services.
What's Involved
This is a really exciting opportunity to get involved with the running of a busy retail shop. There are opportunities for all, no experience is necessary , but all experience is gratefully accepted! Whether you want to meet new friends or just give a little back to the community , this is the perfect opportunity for you. Some of the areas you will gain experience in are
* Customer service
* Cash Register
* Backroom steaming and sorting
* Pricing and window display..
Covid-19 Safety Protocols Implemented in shops
Safety protocols to protect volunteers staff and customers , give guidance on social distancing requirements , cleaning of shop and donations , PPE and other protective measures.
What's required for this position
No experience is necessary , but retail/ customer service experience is welcomed.
