About Polio Survivors Ireland
Polio Survivors Ireland creates awareness and provides information regarding the late effects of polio among polio survivors, statutory agencies and the wider medical profession, and ensures that the needs of polio survivors relating to their condition are met to enable them to live with dignity. Our Core Objectives are to create awareness and provide information on the needs of polio survivors and on Post Polio Syndrome and to support and advocate on behalf of all polio survivors in Ireland.
What's Involved
You’ll be volunteering to help us recruit new members for Polio Survivors Ireland.
You'll be delivering Information talks to local community groups, medical and health care professionals and Rotary Clubs etc. about the work of Polio Survivors Ireland and the ways in which these groups can help us promote our services.

What's required for this position
Knowledge of health and medical organisations
Comfortable talking to people and groups
Organised and reliable, with a personal and friendly manner
An ability to use your own initiative and to work unsupervised
