About Solas Project
Solas Project is a charity (CHY 17385) based in Dublin 8. Our vision is to see communities rejuvenated. We aim to do this by equipping and building up young people to overcome all limitations imposed on them by social and educational disadvantage through the adventure of discovering their abilities and self-worth.
What's Involved
The Yard is a social enterprise with the aim to equip young people (17-24) with skills and knowledge that will empower them to fulfil their personal and professional potential.
Our Skills Development Programme is a one-to-one mentoring environment that builds and strengthens participants' abilities with the ultimate goal of increasing opportunity for employment. Projects in The Yard improve skills and awareness by demonstrating the benefits of teamwork. We share a common goal and measure outcomes to encourage growth in self-awareness. We hope participants will learn to identify their own life goals.
