About Crosscare
Crosscare is the social care agency of the Dublin Archdiocese delivering services to those who need them most within the greater Dublin area, working to relieve poverty and serve the needs of the poor and marginalised in the Archdiocese of Dublin. We offer a range of programmes based on innovative approaches to meet new and emerging needs for those affected by homelessness, the needs of young people, and the development of community driven services.
What's Involved
Any Guitar heroes looking to come to our rescue in Dun Laoghaire youth service? (Guitars included!) We are looking for someone or some"two" to give lessons to a group of young people or 1 to 1 for 8 sessions.
When: Tuesday or Thursday evenings, to be agreed with the volunteer. Minimum one session per week.
It's a short term opportunity to share your passion for music whilst getting an opportunity to work with young people!
Crosscare Dun Laoghaire youth services provides a welcoming friendly environment where young people from the community can access a range of Youth programmes with an emphasis on addressing and combating exclusion and marginalisation in all its forms.
What's required for this position
First things first! We are hoping you have an interest and ability to teach guitar!
