About The Micro Triathlon Event
The idea is that everyone can take part, exercise, raise funds locally, raise awareness and have fun. This is not a race or competition. Anyone can be a triathlete!
How it will work?
The Micro-Triathlon will be in 3 stages and the 3 stages will run in a relay.
1. Walk 3km around the cricket pitch and the rugby field. This is a 1k route so the walk will be 3 laps of this route.
2. Cycle 3km which will take place on stationary bikes in the gym.
3. Swim 9 lengths (with pause between swims!) of a pool or do a 30 minute Aqua Aerobics class
Who can take part?
Anyone! This event is for people with arthritis, supporters, family, friends, colleagues and anyone in your community who ever dreamed of being a triathlete but reckoned they would never be able to do it.
