About Ballymun Regional Youth Resource

Ballymun Regional Youth Resource BRYR, is a professional Youth Work organisation in a purpose built youth facility with 40 staff and volunteers, students, young leaders and EVS. We offer support, variety, fun and a purposeful experience with young people 10-24yrs of age.

What's Involved

The Ballymun Community is holding a Family Fun Day on Friday 27th July from 4-7 pm

This is expected to be a busy day full of activities, music, food and fun.

To make it work, volunteers are needed to support the staff from local organisations.

Roles could be manning tents, manning queues, manning games, being a floater, manning gates, supervising a food queue, serving food or water etc. . There could also be preparation Set up and clean up. Basically, taking on a helpful role. The event will need all the volunteer support it can get!! ( and some sunshine too!)

Date: Friday 27th July
Time: 3 – 8pm ( to allow for preparation support and clean up support)

What's required for this position

Suitable qualities include friendliness, helpfulness, enthusiasm , empathy, patience, an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. The person needs to be a person who is able to work from ‘where the young person it at’ and is interested in getting involved in a family & child community event that could be hectic, but equally fun!

Fluent English

Hours required: 6hrs Once off

At the Old Plunket Tower site beside the Reco ( Ballymun Regional Youth Resource), Sillogue Road, Ballymun, Dublin 11
