About Phibsboro Cat Rescue
Phibsboro Cat Rescue is a not-for-profit rescue (registered charity number 20105297), based in Phibsboro, helping homeless, stray and feral cats and kittens in and around Dublin.
Since forming as a group of volunteers in June 2014, we have helped nearly 950 cats and kittens through our Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR), fostering and adoption programmes.
What's Involved
Are you interested in helping a small charity establish their base to help the feral cats of Dublin North? We are looking for a group of skilled volunteers to help us improve our "Hidden Haven" in Fairview/Ballybough. Specifically, we're looking for:
Roofers to help fix the roof and guttering, Builders to help mend our buildings and install partition walls
Carpenters to build shelves and make cat shelters for our feral cats from our abundant scrap wood
Plumbers to install a water supply into our second building and fix our bathroom.
What's required for this position
Good general building and trade skills and experience.
