About Depaul
Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.
What's Involved
We are looking for volunteers to help organise and run Arts and Crafts sessions for those affected with long-term homelessness.
You will be working alongside front line staff in a specialised Dublin City Centre Homeless Hostel with a team of highly skilled professionals in a values-led organisation.
Volunteer Induction will take place on Saturday 6th April.
What's required for this position
Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Flexible, creative and patient with a good sense of humour, have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a wide group of people.
