About Depaul
Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.
What's Involved
Offering in-house support and befriending for those affected by long-term housing while working alongside front line staff in a specialised Dublin City Centre Homeless Hostel. Active listening is a vital part of this role as is the ability to be able to communicate with a diverse group of people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Volunteer Induction will take place on Saturday 6th April.

What's required for this position
Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
Flexible, creative and patient with a good sense of humour.
Have excellent communication, listening, skills and be able to interact wide a wide group of people.
