17th October 2017 will mark the 30th anniversary of the United Nations' Day for the Eradication of Poverty (UN End Poverty Day - see more at www.17october.ie)
This year's anniversary also marks the finale of a year long #StopPoverty campaign.
ATD Ireland needs the support of volunteers to organise major UN End Poverty Day events in Dublin and coordinate the national observance of the Day in Ireland on behalf of the Irish 17th October Committee.
A volunteer team will be formed and an initial meeting for all applicants will take place from week 11th to 17th September.

There are several tasks, based on the skills, interests and availability of each volunteer. We invite volunteers to discover the spirit of the work of ATD Ireland which is about empowering people experiencing poverty to come together and find confidence to raise their own voice.
