About Depaul

Depaul is a homeless charity providing accommodation and support through hostels and outreach services. Depaul believes that everyone should have a place to call home and a stake in their community. Our aim is to work with those who are socially excluded and marginalised by providing a quality led service in order to produce the best possible outcomes for those accessing our services. We work in partnership with central and local government, housing associations and other non-governmental organisations such as the society of St Vincent de Paul.

What's Involved

Depaul is seeking volunteers with interests and skills in gardening, to help at our various residential facilities in Dublin City Centre, Tallaght and Finglas.

You can help us to maintain a pleasant environment for our service users, while working with them to develop their own skills, interests and independent living skills.

Utilise your green fingers to make a difference in people's lives!

Time Commitment - 2 hours per week.

What's required for this position

Knowledge of plants, seasons, maintenance and structural issues are an advantage, along with an ability to interact and impart what you know to others

  • Trades/ Operative/ Manual

Level of English required for this role:
Basic English
