About Le Cheile Day Centre

We are a large Day Service supporting 50 adults with disabilities to access Leisure, Educational and Employment opportunities. We provide classes in our centre but also access community centres and colleges. Good record keeping is a key part of the service we provide.

What's Involved

We require a volunteer to type letters, maintain a simple filing system,order stationary, manage basic incoming/outgoing post. Occasional answering phones / emails would be required also.

The role will be office based,working alongside the Centre Manager and staff team. High level of support will be given throughout the time spent working in Le Cheile.

Time Commitment:
Start and end times are very flexible to suit the volunteers needs.

What's required for this position

We work in the very friendly, fun environment of a day centre for adults with disabilities. Aside from basic computer / telephone skills we really value people friendly volunteers with a helpful, caring and team approach

Any 40 bus from city Centre or Finglas. Get off at Glasnevin Cemetary (the stop for Woodies and Topaz Garage)Travel up to the top of Slaney Rd in the Estate(past Bargaintown)At top of road take right and left turn. We are immediately on right hand side.
