Drogheda Homeless Aid

About Drogheda Homeless Aid

Drogheda Homeless Aid was set up in 1982 by Sr. Cait Fitzgerald to cater for the growing number of homeless people in our community, and since then has provided accommodation, care and support for over 4,000 homeless people, many of whom have resettled into our community and are living independent fulfilled lives.

What's Involved

Drogheda Homeless Aid's Annual sleep out will take place on 8th December 2018. The annual Sleep Out is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Drogheda Homeless Aid. Volunteers are required to help out with this fundraising throughout the day and night

The Sleep Out also seeks to bring further awareness to the people of Drogheda on the issues of homelessness within the town.
Volunteers will be collecting in a variety of locations around Drogheda. There will also be the opportunity to help out in Termonfeckin and Dunleer if those locations are more convenient for you.
