About Dundalk Athletics Ground Committee
This is a once off Road race around streets of Dundalk to help fund raise for a new Athletics Track. 6 Dundalk clubs coming together to make our dream become a reality. Dundalk currently has no athletics track and it is a much needed amenity.
What's Involved
Volunteers are needed this St Stephen's Day (26th December) to steward the route, which starts and ends at the Friary School in Dundalk.
Volunteers will be both directing (and encouraging) the runners along the route, and advising oncoming traffic of the race.
Volunteers should arrive at the Friary at 10am to receive their hi-viz vests and instructions for their shifts. The race will be completed by 12pm, so shift will be no longer than 2 hours.
What's required for this position
Friendly, enthusiastic, responsible people who enjoy being a part of a team.
Volunteers need to be responsible and able to marshal the route.
