South West Inner City Network (SWICN) is a community organization founded in 1994 and based in the inner city of Dublin. The aim of SWICN is to tackle poverty and social exclusion through partnership and constructive engagement between Government and its agencies and people in disadvantaged communities.

What's Involved

SWICN’s youth service is part of the Clubhouse Network, an international community of linked organisations focused on engaging young people through technology and helping them learn 21st century skills.

We are currently looking for volunteers, who have some experience with coding or have an interest in Lego robotics to help facilitate a coding group.

Volunteers will be working with young people aged 10+ and will meet on a Tuesday evening, 5pm - 6.30pm to help facilitate the group.

South West Inner City Network (SWICN) is a community organisation which provides a wide range of services for adults and young people living in Dublin 8.

Please note:
Applicants must be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

What's required for this position

Prospective volunteers should have an interest in working with young people aged 10+ as well as some level of experience with coding.

Those with an interest in Lego robotics are especially welcome to apply.
