About Benbulben Carnival
2018 sees the first Benbulben Carnival taking place in Sligo Town.
It will be a fun and vibrant music and arts festival held on June Bank holiday weekend in Stephen Street Car Park.
It is held in support of four local charities that rely solely on local funding.
- MS Therapy Centre Sligo
- North West Hospice
- Alzheimer's Society Sligo
- Friends of Sligo University Hospital cardiac services.
The Carnival will be a weekend of music and dance, parades and horse racing with pub and street parties.
What's Involved
Volunteers required to steward the Arts Parade under a Chief Marshall Saturday June 2nd from 1.00 - 3.00pm. Volunteers will meet before the Parade at 12.00pm at St Stephen's Car Park for a Health & Safety briefing
Volunteers will receive a FREE ticket to enjoy all the wonderful music and entertainment over the course of the two days.
What's required for this position
No previous skills necessary, just a friendly person who can take direction, work as part of a team and be confident to fulfill the role of a steward on the day.
