What's Involved

Culture Date with Dublin 8 is a neighbourhood initiative that took place for the first time in May 2017. This free, family-friendly, weekend-long festival endeavours to celebrate Dublin 8’s rich cultural and historical heritage while encouraging people who live and work in the area to explore what is on their doorstep.

Building on the success of last year, Culture Date with Dublin 8 will host a series of specially curated events and activities again on the 19th-20th May 2018 across the locale of Kilmainham and Inchicore, taking place amongst the leading historical and cultural sites such as IMMA - Irish Museum of Modern Art, Richmond Barracks, Kilmainham Gaol, The Irish National War Memorial Gardens, The Phoenix Park, Goldenbridge Cemetery and The Grand Canal.
